Model L SafeSite is an inline (see-thru) type of sight flow indicator assembly that allows the observation of material flow through a line. The unit is essentially two
Model L Weld sight glasses mounted at 180 degrees from one another on a specialized pipe fitting.
The Model L Safesite is developed to satisfy the need for pressure requirements from full vacuum to 150 psi while still providing the safety of PresSure Products higher-pressure units. This unit employs standard 150 psi ANSI B16.5 (2" to 8") flange ends to specified face-to-face dimensions. Model L Safesites can be supplied with indicators such as drip tubes, rotors or flappers, and rated for temperatures up to 450°F. The unit can be provided with Silicone, Viton®, Teflon® or EPDM seals. Various materials of construction are available to meet your process needs. Available connection types include stub-ends with lap joint flanges, butt-welds, threaded or sanitary. Units can be adapted to meet smaller or larger-size flange connections if necessary. Units rated for 100 PSIG feature laminated double layer lens, while 150 PSIG units feature thicker single piece lens.
